Common Questions

CPR Training FAQs

Which course do I need?
Healthcare providers and healthcare students typically need BLS Provider. Most workplaces, childcare roles, and community members need a Heartsaver course (CPR AED, First Aid CPR AED, or Pediatric). Not sure? Call 470-726-2059 and tell us what your employer or program requires — we'll point you to the right course.
Is the training hands-on?
Yes. Every course includes hands-on practice — compressions, AED use, and choking response — with live coaching until your technique is solid. Hands-on participation is required to complete the course.
What documentation do I receive?
Course completion is documented through the standard eCard process for the course you take, along with your course paperwork. We'll explain exactly what your employer or program will receive before you leave class.
Can you train our whole team?
Yes — group certification days are one of our specialties, at our facility or yours. Visit the Corporate & Workforce Training page or call 470-726-2059 to plan your session.
How do I become a CPR instructor?
Enroll in the Certified Collector & Instructor Academy — Day 1 is dedicated to CPR instructor development, from teaching methods and classroom management to documentation. In class we also review the alignment and credentialing steps instructors complete with a Training Center, so you know the full pathway.
